Combine several practical jobs in one visit
It is often a list of small unfinished jobs—not one major fault—that makes a home or workplace less comfortable: a door that catches, loose handles, a leaning cabinet, boxed furniture or equipment that still needs mounting. Komfortliv provides handyman services throughout Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres, coordinated through one contact.
Work may be arranged during the day, in the evening or at weekends, subject to availability. Enquiries are handled Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, and we usually reply within two hours during office hours.
Choose the right handyman service
Every job is assessed for materials, load, access, risk and the competence required. The list below is not an automatic promise to carry out every variation. Structural changes, load-bearing work, fixed electrical installations and interventions in pipes or wet-room systems are not ordinary handyman work.
- Adjusting internal doors, cabinet fronts, hinges, handles and visible fittings.
- Furniture assembly and suitable freestanding office equipment.
- Mounting shelves, mirrors, curtain rails and other items after assessing the wall.
- Minor repairs to trim, small holes and cosmetic surface damage.
- Replacing visible silicone seals where the substrate is dry and sound.
- Practical preparation before moving in, property photography or opening premises.
Information that produces a realistic quote
Send one prioritised task list with clear photos, measurements and the address. Tell us what has already been purchased, whether instructions are available, what wall or surface is involved and whether pipes or cables are known to be nearby. Product names, links and package counts are particularly useful for furniture.
When several jobs are combined, we recommend a sensible order and identify materials to purchase before the visit. If a task proves materially different from the description, we agree the effect on time and price before continuing.
Pricing, materials and purchases
Handyman work starts from NOK 990 per hour including VAT, with a usual minimum order of NOK 3,000. A fixed price may be offered where the products, surfaces and task list are documented clearly. Travel, parking, tolls, materials, fixings and specialist tools are additional where relevant.
Komfortliv can select and purchase agreed materials. The customer pays documented product costs and the agreed time spent purchasing and transporting them. Fixings, adhesive or sealant must suit the load and substrate; we do not use an unsuitable product simply to finish faster.
When a qualified trade partner is required
Changes to fixed electrical installations are coordinated with a registered electrical contractor. Work on fixed water systems, pipes, connections or wet rooms is similarly referred to an appropriately qualified provider. The customer approves the external provider, price and responsibilities separately.

Do you bring tools?
We bring ordinary tools for the agreed work. Specialist equipment, access equipment and particular fixings are quoted separately.
Can you buy missing materials?
Yes, by agreement. Product costs and agreed purchasing and transport time are charged separately.
How is the result followed up?
Inspect visible work and report any issue promptly, preferably within 24 hours. This practical process does not limit statutory rights.
