A secure installation starts with the wall
The same shelf may need completely different fixings in concrete, brick, timber studs or plasterboard. Komfortliv mounts suitable products on existing walls in Oslo after assessing weight, bracket, wall type, height and the risk of concealed cables or pipes.
Typical jobs include TV brackets, shelves, mirrors, pictures, curtain rails, blinds, hooks and small cabinets. Heavy objects, large glass panels or high-level work may require two people, access equipment or a specialist solution.
What to send before booking
Send a full-wall photo, the desired position, product name, dimensions, weight, bracket details and manufacturer instructions. Tell us what you know about the wall and any electrical, plumbing or ventilation services behind it. Include floor, access and working height.
We cannot confirm a fixing method from the product alone. Where the wall construction is uncertain, a detector or small exploratory check may be needed, and even detection tools cannot guarantee the exact position of every concealed service.
Placement, load and fixings
We measure and agree the position before drilling. Fixings must suit both the substrate and the applied load; existing plugs are not reused merely because they are in a convenient location. The customer should approve viewing height, alignment and spacing before permanent holes are made.
Plasterboard may require studs, specialist anchors or a lower load. Crumbling masonry, hollow construction, tiled wet areas and walls with unknown structure are assessed individually.
Electrical boundaries and cables
We can route exposed low-voltage leads using agreed surface accessories where no electrical alteration is involved. New sockets, concealed cabling, changes to fixed wiring and hard-wired equipment are completed by a registered electrical contractor. TV signal, data-network and advanced system configuration are separate tasks.
Price and materials
Wall mounting starts from NOK 1,090 per hour including VAT, with a usual minimum order of NOK 3,000. The price depends on wall type, load, height, number of items and the need for two people or access equipment. Fixings, brackets, cable covers, travel, parking and tolls are additional.
If the wall proves unsuitable or concealed services create unacceptable risk, we stop before drilling and discuss another position or method.

Can you mount a TV on plasterboard?
Sometimes, depending on weight, bracket, studs and suitable anchors. The wall must be assessed before the method is confirmed.
Do you supply fixings?
We can provide suitable agreed fixings, charged separately. Manufacturer-supplied parts are used where appropriate.
Can cables be hidden inside the wall?
Not as ordinary wall mounting. Concealed electrical work requires a registered electrical contractor.
What if you find a pipe or cable risk?
We stop and agree a safer position or specialist assessment before drilling.
