Herringbone flooring is now available from Komfortliv
Komfortliv now offers herringbone flooring installation in Oslo as part of the expanded flooring service. Unlike a standard click floor, the pattern must be set out systematically from a controlled reference line. Small deviations at the start can remain visible across the room, so geometry, subfloor condition, door openings, transitions and the selected product are reviewed before the work is confirmed.
The booking service code is floor_herringbone and it remains in QUOTE mode. The calculator can show the pricing basis, but the amount is not treated as a binding automatic price until Komfortliv has reviewed the scope and assumptions.

Prices come directly from booking version PUBLIC_1_2. Flooring material, adhesive/underlay, profiles, skirting, delivery, parking, tolls and other documented outlays are not automatically included.
What can the job include?

- installation of the herringbone pattern on a prepared and approved subfloor
- cutting at door openings, edges and agreed transitions
- checking expansion and finishing requirements for the selected product
- basic clean-up of the work area after installation
Preparation and booking add-ons
Old-floor removal is a separate service at NOK 220/m², subfloor levelling NOK 550/m² and skirting NOK 175 per linear metre. Materials and waste disposal are handled separately. Moisture, significant level differences, loose structures or other defects must be assessed before ordinary flooring work can be priced.

How much does herringbone flooring installation cost?
The booking labour rate is NOK 1,050 per m² incl. VAT, with a minimum order of NOK 9,900. Because the service is QUOTE, the final price is confirmed only after the scope has been reviewed.
Is the flooring material included?
No. The booking price covers labour. Flooring, underlay, adhesive where required, skirting, profiles and delivery are priced separately.
Does the subfloor need to be perfectly level?
It must be sufficiently flat, dry and stable for the selected product. Standard subfloor levelling is a separate booking service at NOK 550/m² where suitable.
Can you remove the existing floor first?
Yes. Old-floor removal is a separate service at NOK 220/m². Disposal and receiving fees are additional where applicable.
