Practical help for all or part of your move
A move may involve anything from a few sealed boxes to several addresses, furniture that needs dismantling and a fixed handover deadline. Komfortliv provides moving and transport services throughout Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres. Longer journeys can be assessed separately.
Choose a single service or ask us to coordinate several stages. Before work begins, one contact confirms the team, vehicle, materials, access and order of work. Services can be scheduled during the day, in the evening or at weekends by arrangement and subject to availability.
Choose the help that fits your move
Each part has its own scope and pricing basis. Carrying help, for example, does not automatically include a vehicle, while storage is provided by an external operator chosen or approved by the customer. The quote identifies responsibilities and any third-party costs.
- Packing and unpacking: sorting, protection, labelling and organisation before or after transport.
- Carrying help: extra labour when you already have a vehicle, trailer or container.
- Moving help with a vehicle: loading, transport and unloading with an agreed team and capacity.
- Residential and office moves: a coordinated plan for both addresses.
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly, heavy-lift assessment, waste removal and storage coordination.
Details that improve your estimate
Send both addresses, preferred date, floors, lift access, parking and the approximate carrying distance. Include photos of large furniture and tell us about boxes, basements, lofts or storage rooms. Pianos, safes, art, instruments, large glass items and other valuable or unusually heavy objects must be identified separately.
For an office or shop, include opening hours, access systems, the responsible contact and any functions that must remain operational. The customer should retain control of confidential records, keys and sensitive IT equipment.
Prices, extras and safety
Guide prices start at NOK 750 per hour per person for packing, NOK 790 per hour per person for carrying help and NOK 1,750 per hour for two people and a vehicle, including VAT. Transport bookings normally have a three-hour minimum. Office moves start at NOK 1,592 per hour excl. VAT.
Fuel, tolls, parking, packaging, disposal fees, storage rent and specialist equipment are additional where relevant. Access routes must be clear, appliances emptied and disconnected, and regulated electrical or plumbing work handled by a qualified provider.

Can I book only one part of the move?
Yes. Packing, carrying, transport, assembly and unpacking can all be booked separately.
Can you offer a fixed price?
Yes, when the volume, access, addresses and task list are documented well enough. Larger moves may require a site visit.
Do you work in the evening or at weekends?
Yes, by arrangement and subject to availability. Any surcharge is confirmed in writing before booking.
Can moving be combined with cleaning and assembly?
Yes. Each task is priced separately but can be coordinated through one contact and one schedule.
