A cleaner, better-maintained first impression
Pre-sale cleaning prepares a property to be seen. The work prioritises surfaces, natural light and details visible in photographs or as prospective buyers walk through the rooms. It does not include styling, photography or repairs, but can be combined with organising and simple practical tasks when arranged in good time.
The service is suitable before professional property photography, open or private viewings, a sale or a new tenancy. Komfortliv serves all of Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres. For the best result, the timing should be coordinated with the estate agent, photographer and other contractors so cleaning takes place after dusty or dirty work is complete.
What does pre-sale cleaning prioritise?
- cleaning floors, visible surfaces and furniture included in the agreement
- bathrooms, mirrors, sinks, toilets, showers and baths
- worktops, sinks, hobs and visible cabinet fronts
- door handles, switches, frames and other details noticeable in good light
- removing light dust and visible marks from accessible areas
- windows where window cleaning has been booked and access is safe
Cabinet interiors, appliances, large quantities of belongings, textile cleaning, intensive limescale treatment and extensive tidying are not automatically included. The property should be tidy before work begins. If sorting, packing or organising is needed, it can be booked as a separate area of work.
Planning before photography and viewings
Send the address, floor area, number of bathrooms, date of the photography or viewing, and photos of the property. Tell us if any rooms have recently been renovated, whether construction dust is present, and if windows or balcony glass are required. We also recommend removing private papers, medicines, valuables and personal items that should not appear in photographs.
Pre-sale cleaning should ideally be booked well in advance. Work can be scheduled in the evening, at night or at weekends by arrangement, but our office handles new enquiries Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. We usually reply within two hours during office hours. Same-day availability cannot be guaranteed.
Pricing and possible extras
Booking PUBLIC_1_2 calculates pre-sale cleaning by floor area with a NOK 4,900 minimum including VAT. Homes up to 99 m² therefore remain at the minimum in the current booking model. From 200 m² the job moves to quote/price review instead of an automatic final price. Windows, cabinet interiors, ovens, refrigerators, organising, minor assembly and materials are separate extras.

With a service deposit there is no separate Oslo mobilisation charge. Without a service deposit, NOK 450 is payable before dispatch. Documented parking and tolls may still apply.
Travel and call-out time are additional. Documented parking and toll charges may apply. Komfortliv can purchase necessary cleaning products or consumables by agreement; the customer pays the costs and the agreed purchasing time. Payment is by Vipps or invoice.
Frequently asked questions
Are windows included?
Only when stated in the quote. The number of panes, glazing bars, double frames, balcony glass, height and access must be provided for accurate pricing.
Can you help tidy before cleaning?
Yes. Professional organising and simple packing can be added. This should be planned before cleaning so the work is completed in the right order.
When should the cleaning be carried out?
Usually as close to the photography or viewing as practical, but after painting, assembly and other dusty work have finished. We agree the timing around the complete schedule.
What if something is not satisfactory?
Report visible issues within 24 hours with photos and a description. We assess whether they relate to the agreed work and arrange any necessary follow-up.
