A good floor starts with the right substrate
Uneven subfloors can cause problems with click joints, sound, movement and visible joints. Komfortliv therefore offers standard subfloor levelling as a separate flooring service where ordinary levelling is an appropriate preparation method.
The booking code floor_leveling remains QUOTE. The area and standard rate provide a pricing basis, but compound quantity, layer thickness, drying time, level differences and the cause of unevenness must be reviewed before a final agreement.
Price comes from booking, not static HTML
| Pricing item | Booking price |
|---|---|
| Labour / standard pricing basis | NOK 550/m² incl. VAT |
| Minimum order | NOK 3,900 incl. VAT |
Prices come directly from booking version PUBLIC_1_2. Levelling compound and other materials, delivery, parking, tolls and special preparation are separate costs where applicable.
What can standard levelling include?
- visual assessment and measurement of the agreed area
- normal preparation of a suitable subfloor within the agreed scope
- standard levelling once method and thickness have been clarified
- checking transitions to adjacent areas
- preparation for the next flooring stage after the required drying period
When does the job need a different assessment?
Moisture problems, structural defects, extensive cracking, movement, rot, major level differences or specialist solutions are not ordinary levelling. Such conditions are documented and must be resolved before, or as separate qualified work. Old-floor removal is priced separately at NOK 220/m².
Frequently asked questions
How much does subfloor levelling cost?
The booking labour basis is NOK 550/m² incl. VAT, with a minimum order of NOK 3,900. Final pricing is confirmed after review because the service may require QUOTE.
Is levelling compound included?
Not automatically. The PUBLIC_1_2 figure is the labour pricing basis. Material quantity, delivery and other outlays are charged separately where relevant.
Can you level over any old floor?
No. The substrate must be suitable and stable. Loose or damaged layers may need to be removed first.
How soon can the new floor be installed?
That depends on the product, layer thickness, temperature and moisture conditions. New flooring is installed only after the chosen levelling system has reached the required condition for further work.
