We are not presenting this service as a major building contract. Every request is assessed for materials, structure, fire separation and any need for documented specialist competence.
Jobs we can assess
Work is agreed specifically. We do not open walls, alter load-bearing construction or carry out concealed interventions without a defined method and appropriate competence. Wet-room, façade, pipe and fixed electrical implications require separate assessment.

Information required for an estimate
Send overview and close-up photos, dimensions, material, quantity and details of any parts already purchased. For doors, show the frame, threshold, hinges and contact point. For trim, estimate linear metres and show profiles, corners and uneven walls or floors.
Photos may be enough for a simple job. Unknown substrates, several rooms or on-site fabrication may require a visit. Hidden moisture, rot or major distortion becomes a separately approved scope.
Price, materials and completion
Small carpentry work starts from NOK 1,090 per hour including VAT, with a usual minimum order of NOK 3,000. A fixed quote is possible when measurements, materials and work are sufficiently documented. Travel, parking, tolls, materials, fixings and specialist tools are additional.
Komfortliv can purchase approved materials; the customer pays product costs and agreed purchasing time. Important dimensions are confirmed before visible pieces are cut. Removal of old materials or packaging is separately agreed.
When another contractor is more appropriate
New openings, load-bearing walls, major roof or floor work and construction requiring formal documentation are not ordinary small jobs. We can help describe the requirement and coordinate an appropriate provider after the customer approves price and responsibility.

Yes, where hinges, fittings or a small adaptation address the cause. Major frame or structural distortion is assessed separately.
Can you buy trim and fittings?
Yes, by agreement after photos and measurements. Materials and agreed purchasing time are charged separately.
