Practical door-to-door moving help
Komfortliv combines labour and a vehicle in one moving service. It is designed for customers whose belongings are mostly packed and ready but who need help loading, transporting and unloading them. We work between addresses throughout Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres; longer journeys are assessed separately.
A room count alone rarely shows the true volume. Large furniture, basements, balconies, books and a long distance between the entrance and parking can materially affect the time required.
What standard moving help includes
Packing, unpacking, disassembly, assembly, storage, waste removal and cleaning are separate services. They can be combined when useful but must be included in the quote so that enough time and the correct equipment are allowed.
- Two movers and an appropriate vehicle with the agreed capacity.
- Carrying sealed boxes and furniture prepared for transport.
- Orderly loading and securing of ordinary household goods.
- Transport between the agreed addresses and unloading into labelled rooms.
- Ongoing contact if access or volume differs from the plan.
What we need before quoting
Provide both addresses, date, floor, lift, parking and the distance from the door to the loading point. List major furniture, appliances and boxes, and flag narrow stairs, low ceilings, building work or restricted access. The customer is responsible for reserving a lift, courtyard or loading bay where required.
Preparing for moving day
Boxes should be closed, labelled and safe to stack. Cabinets and drawers must be emptied unless agreed otherwise, and appliances must be empty, clean and disconnected. The customer should transport cash, jewellery, passports, medicines, keys and irreplaceable items.
Flammable liquids, gas cylinders, unknown chemicals, weapons and other dangerous or regulated goods are not accepted as ordinary moving items. Plants, art, instruments and high-value objects must be disclosed in advance.
Price and time calculation
Booking PUBLIC_1_2 uses NOK 1,750 per hour incl. VAT for two people and a van and NOK 2,390 per hour incl. VAT for three people and a van. The moving-team calculator plans a three-hour minimum. Fuel, tolls, parking and documented expenses are agreed in the quote. The timing start point and vehicle capacity are stated in the agreement.
Estimates rely on the information provided. If the volume, access or task list changes materially, we confirm the effect on time and price before exceeding the agreed scope.

What size vehicle do you use?
The vehicle is selected for the stated volume and availability. Capacity and any need for more than one trip are confirmed in the quote.
Can you pack on the same day?
Minor last-minute packing may be agreed, but a full packing service should be planned separately to avoid delays.
Do you move in the evening or at weekends?
Yes, by arrangement and subject to availability. Timing and any surcharge are confirmed before booking.
What if the lift is unavailable?
Stairs increase time and physical demand. We reassess whether the planned team and method remain safe, then agree the change with you.
