A new exterior painting service from Komfortliv
Komfortliv now has tradespeople available for exterior painting of suitable homes, smaller commercial areas and other agreed surfaces in Oslo. Outdoor painting differs from indoor work because weather, temperature, moisture, sunlight, height and the existing coating affect both the method and schedule.
The booking service code is painting_outside. It remains in REVIEW: the calculator uses the active PUBLIC_1_2 hourly rate, while Komfortliv checks photos, area, access, surface condition and required equipment before a binding price is confirmed.

Preparation, materials and access
Loose or damaged paint, rot, moisture, major cracks, damaged cladding and other substrate problems may require additional work or other specialist competence before painting. Scaffolding, lifts, extensive access equipment and materials are priced separately when necessary. Work is scheduled around suitable weather; rain or poor drying conditions may move the start or completion date.
Frequently asked questions
How much does exterior painting cost in Oslo?
The booking rate is NOK 1,090 per hour incl. VAT, with a minimum order of NOK 3,000. The final amount depends on preparation, height, area, number of coats and access and is checked in REVIEW.
Are paint and materials included?
Not automatically. Paint, primer, protection materials and other consumables are added as agreed. Documented outlays are kept separate from the labour price.
Do you paint in poor weather?
Exterior coatings require suitable temperature and moisture conditions. Rain, high humidity or other unsuitable conditions may require the work to be postponed or spread over several days.
Can you paint high parts of a building?
This is assessed case by case. If scaffolding, a lift or special access/safety measures are required, these must be agreed before the booking is confirmed.
Can you repair rotten or damaged cladding at the same time?
Minor preparation can be agreed, but rot, structural damage or extensive replacement is assessed separately and may require other specialist competence.
