Gutters should be cleaned without creating unnecessary risk
Leaves, needles, moss and other loose material can block gutters and downpipes, causing overflow onto façades, entrances or the ground. Komfortliv cleans accessible gutters in Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres, but confirms the job only after assessing the height and safe access.
Working at the roof edge is work at height. An ordinary unsecured ladder is not always a safe platform. Building height, ground conditions, wall distance, slope, power lines and lift or scaffold access must be assessed before agreeing the price and method.

The service is cleaning, not repair of roofs, flashings, underlay or concealed leaks. Blocked underground drains, damaged joints, loose tiles, rot and water ingress require an appropriate specialist.
How safe access is assessed
Send photos of the whole façade, roof edge, terrain and every side required. We need approximate heights and lengths, plus information about basement steps, conservatories, glass, slopes, traffic and space for a lift or scaffold.
Work is not carried out on slippery ground, in strong wind, thunderstorms, frost or other conditions creating unacceptable fall risk. Komfortliv does not walk on roofs as part of the standard service. If safe access requires a lift, scaffold or specialist fall protection, it must be included in a separate quote or completed with a qualified partner.
Pricing and additional equipment
PUBLIC_1_2 uses a length-based base matrix for gutter cleaning. The service is always QUOTE because height, number of sides, access, waste volume and required protection must be assessed before a binding price.

A lift, scaffold, barriers, extra staff, parking, tolls and waste removal are additional. If photos do not show conditions clearly, a site visit may be priced separately before approval.
Waste and reporting
Material is collected at an agreed place or removed under a separate agreement. We can report visible conditions, but cleaning is not a technical inspection and does not guarantee against later leaks. The customer should observe the visible result during the next rain and report issues promptly.
Frequently asked questions
Can you clean from an ordinary ladder?
Only where the risk assessment shows it is safe for the specific job. A ladder is not automatically a suitable work platform.
Do you go onto the roof?
Not as standard. Roof work requires a separate assessment, protection and possibly a qualified partner.
Do you repair leaking gutters?
We can document visible problems. Repairs are priced separately and performed only when competence, access and responsibility are agreed.
Can the job be completed in rain?
Usually not. Wind, rain, frost and slippery ground can make work at height unsafe.
Send photos first: Take distance photos of the façade, roof edge and terrain. State approximate heights and which sides require cleaning.
