Clean windows with safe access
Window cleaning improves natural light and gives a home or workplace a better-maintained appearance. Windows vary considerably in size, construction and accessibility, so Komfortliv calculates the quote from the number of glass surfaces, frames, glazing bars, height and whether the windows can be opened and reached safely.
We serve households, offices and shops throughout Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres. Window cleaning can be booked separately or combined with house cleaning, deep cleaning, pre-sale cleaning or regular cleaning.
What can window cleaning include?
- interior cleaning of standard glass surfaces
- exterior cleaning where the window is safely accessible
- wiping accessible frames, surrounds and window sills
- cleaning simple frames as agreed
- removing ordinary dust, fingerprints and surface dirt
- glass doors or smaller glazed areas where listed in the booking
We need specific information about double or coupled windows, glazing bars, shutters, glazed balconies, glass balustrades, roof windows and larger façade glazing. Adhesive, paint, cement, silicone, film, mineral deposits or other bonded contamination require assessment and are not included in ordinary window cleaning unless agreed.
Safety and limitations
Komfortliv does not work from unsafe ladders, roofs, ledges or other places without suitable access and protection. If a window cannot be reached safely from the floor, ground level or an appropriate work platform, we must assess alternative equipment or decline that part of the job. Customers must not remove safety devices to make a window accessible.
Outdoor work may be rescheduled in heavy rain, wind, frost or other conditions that would compromise the result or safety. We inform the customer as early as practical when weather affects the booking.
How to get an accurate price
Send photos of the windows from inside and outside. State the approximate number of panes, floor, whether the windows open, if they have glazing bars or double frames, and whether balcony glass or glass balustrades are included. For offices and shops, we also need opening hours, customer traffic and whether the area can be cordoned off.

Minimum when booked as a standalone service: NOK 3,000 including VAT. Difficult access goes to REVIEW. Prices follow Booking PUBLIC_1_2.
Mobilisation in Oslo follows the booking rule: NOK 0 when a service deposit is paid; otherwise NOK 450 before dispatch for eligible one-off jobs. Parking, tolls, lifts, specialist equipment, products and other documented expenses are additional where agreed.
Frequently asked questions
Do you clean between double windows?
This can be agreed if the window can be opened safely and the construction is in sound condition. It takes additional time and must be stated before the quote is calculated.
Can you clean a glazed balcony?
Yes, after assessing the number of panes, sliding system and access. Balcony glass is not automatically included in the standard window price.
Do you remove paint and adhesive from glass?
Only after a specific assessment. Scraping can damage glass or coatings, so the material, method and responsibility must be agreed before work begins.
Can window cleaning be done outside opening hours?
Yes. Work can be planned in the evening, at night or at weekends by agreement, particularly for shops and offices. Our office processes bookings on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00.
