Garden help matched to the space and season
Not every practical garden task needs a full landscaping contractor. Many customers simply need help keeping a lawn, shrubs, entrance and outdoor seating area tidy through the growing season. Komfortliv serves private homes, smaller offices, shops and communal areas throughout Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres.
Some customers book one larger spring or autumn visit, while others prefer regular mowing and tidying. The task list reflects the area, terrain, plant types, access and equipment available on site. Work may take place at any time by arrangement when daylight, local noise rules and safety permit. Enquiries are handled Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.
What garden maintenance may include
Tree felling, large branches, work near power lines, climbing, chainsaw use and advanced tree treatment are not part of ordinary garden help. These jobs require a separate risk assessment and may be referred to an arborist or another qualified provider.
- Lawn mowing and simple edging on accessible ground.
- Trimming smaller hedges, shrubs and dead branches from ground level.
- Raking and collecting leaves, twigs and ordinary plant waste.
- Tidying beds, paths, seating areas and the entrance zone.
- Light weeding using an agreed method.
- Spring preparation and autumn clearance before frost and snow.
- Bagging waste for the customer's scheme or agreed removal.
Details needed before pricing
Send photos, approximate measurements, the address, preferred date and a prioritised task list. Tell us about steep sections, steps, narrow gates, concealed cables, robotic mower boundary wires, poisonous plants and areas that must not be touched. Confirm where garden waste should be placed.
If Komfortliv is to buy bags, soil, bark, plants or other products, the budget and acceptable alternatives are agreed first. The customer pays documented product costs plus the agreed purchasing and transport time. We do not plant non-native or regulated species without clarification, and waste is never dumped in nature.
Garden service prices and waste
Guide prices start from NOK 790 per hour including VAT. One-off work normally has a NOK 3,000 minimum order. The total depends on area, density, terrain, waste volume, available equipment, team size and transport requirements.
Ordinary garden waste can remain at the property or be taken to an approved facility by separate agreement. Disposal fees, travel time, parking and tolls are additional. Waste from commercial premises or paid service work may be subject to different receiving rules from household garden waste. Potential invasive species must be identified and handled separately.
Weather, neighbours and quality
Heavy rain, wind, frost and waterlogged ground may require rescheduling. Noisy work is planned within local rules and with consideration for neighbours and other users. Check the visible result and report issues as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take the garden waste away?
Yes, once the type, amount and receiving facility are agreed. Travel and disposal fees are additional.
Can I arrange regular lawn mowing?
Yes. Frequency and price reflect the area, growth, edging, access and waste arrangements.
Do you prune tall trees?
Not as ordinary garden maintenance. Tall trees, climbing and large branches need an arborist or another qualified provider.
Do you bring equipment?
Equipment is agreed before the visit. The customer may provide suitable tools, or Komfortliv can arrange what is needed for an agreed charge.
