A step-by-step process for a difficult task
Clearing an estate is both physically demanding and emotionally difficult. Komfortliv provides discreet practical help in Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres, with a defined sequence and one representative who can confirm decisions.
We do not decide what belongs to whom, buy furniture, provide legal advice or act as the estate representative. Items are moved only when the approved plan and authority are clear.
How the work is organised
- Initial assessment of the property, access and approximate quantities.
- Protection and separate handling of documents and identified valuables.
- Sorting into family, reuse, disposal, storage and cleaning categories.
- Packing and transport to destinations approved by the contact person.
- Cleaning of rooms after contents are removed and surfaces are accessible.
- Receipts, receiving information or simple completion photos where agreed.
What must be clarified first
Send the property type, floor, lift and parking information, approximate contents, preferred timing and the name of the person representing the estate. Identify documents, valuables, photographs, medications, confidential papers and items that must not be touched.
We do not remove property when authority is unclear. Hidden damage, pests, strong odours, moisture or extensive contamination may require a new assessment and specialist treatment.
Price, transport and receiving fees
Booking PUBLIC_1_2 uses NOK 875/hour including VAT for estate clearance and cleaning work, with a NOK 3,000 minimum order. The service remains QUOTE because property size, contents, sorting decisions, floor/access, crew, transport and cleaning level must be assessed before a binding price.
Transport, packaging, parking, tolls, disposal and documented receiving fees are separate where relevant. Cleaning can be included after rooms are accessible or ordered as a separate final stage.
Discretion and documentation
Information about the home and family is treated discreetly. Photos are limited to what is needed for the assignment and are not a valuation or a substitute for an inventory. We report visible deviations instead of covering them with surface cleaning.

Do you need a power of attorney?
We need confirmation that the contact person is authorised to instruct us. The exact documentation depends on the estate situation.
Do you buy furniture or valuables?
No. We can transport approved items, but decisions about sale or ownership remain with the estate.
Can items go to family or reuse?
Yes, when destinations, items and transport arrangements are approved in writing.
Is cleaning included?
It can be included after the scope and accessible surfaces are confirmed; it is shown separately in the plan.
