When routine kitchen cleaning is not enough
A kitchen is used every day and collects grease, dust, food residue and fingerprints across many small surfaces. Areas that look clean from a distance may still have residue around handles, beneath wall cabinets, along plinths and on appliance exteriors. Komfortliv offers kitchen cleaning in Oslo as a standalone job or an addition to other cleaning. Before we begin, we agree the areas included and the required level of detail.
The service is useful before guests arrive, after a busy period, for seasonal cleaning, before photography or when an older relative needs help restoring order to the kitchen. We work throughout Oslo and in nearby areas within about 20 kilometres.
What kitchen cleaning can include
- degreasing and cleaning worktops, splashbacks and other accessible work surfaces
- cleaning the sink, tap and area around the drain
- cleaning cabinet and drawer fronts, handles, plinths and visible edges
- cleaning the exterior of refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens and other appliances
- cleaning the hob and accessible parts of the extractor hood
- vacuuming and mopping with a method suited to the flooring
The task list is adapted to the kitchen materials. Matt finishes, high gloss, natural stone, laminate, stainless steel and painted surfaces do not necessarily tolerate the same products or methods. Please tell us about special surfaces, existing damage and the manufacturer's care instructions.
Tasks agreed separately
Cleaning inside cabinets and drawers, ovens, refrigerators or freezers, defrosting, washing dishes, tidying, organising and removing very old grease are not automatically included. Ceilings, walls, ventilation ducts and dismantling technical parts are also assessed separately. We confirm the expected time before adding these tasks.
How to prepare for the job
Send photos of the cooker, extractor, cabinet fronts and areas with heavy residue. Provide the size, preferred date and whether the kitchen will be in use while we work. Worktops should be as clear as possible, and food or personal belongings that must not be moved should be put away. If cabinet interiors are required, they should normally be emptied in advance or clearing them must be agreed as a separate task.
Pricing, materials and time
Booking PUBLIC_1_2 prices kitchen cleaning from the kitchen floor area. The service is REVIEW and has a NOK 3,000 minimum including VAT. For kitchens above 25 m², the model switches to an hourly rate because grease level, cabinet count, appliances and detail work become more important than floor area alone.

Booking extras include oven interior NOK 450, refrigerator NOK 350, freezer NOK 400, dishwasher NOK 300, extractor hood/filter NOK 350, microwave NOK 150 and cabinets/drawers NOK 350 per pack of 10 fronts. Mobilisation under the current booking rule, parking, tolls, products and consumables may be additional.
We do not work on electrical installations, gas equipment, fixed water connections or ventilation systems requiring professional qualifications. If cleaning reveals a need for repair, further work can be assessed separately.
Frequently asked questions
Do you clean inside the oven?
Yes, when booked. Oven cleaning takes longer than exterior cleaning and is therefore priced as a separate item in the task list.
Can you clean refrigerators and freezers?
Yes. The appliance must be empty, and a freezer must be defrosted for interior cleaning to be completed efficiently and safely.
Can you remove every old grease mark?
We reduce residue using a method that is safe for the surface. Wear, discolouration or residue that has penetrated the material cannot always be removed completely.
Can kitchen cleaning be combined with general cleaning?
Yes. Tell us which other rooms are required and we will prepare one combined scope and assess whether the work should be completed on the same day.
