A clean, ready cabin when you need it
A holiday home may stand empty for periods yet still collect dust, pollen, insects and signs of damp. After a stay, there may also be too little time to clean before departure. Komfortliv provides cabin cleaning in the Oslo area for owners who want practical help before arrival, after use or at a change of season. The job is planned around the cabin's standard, water and electricity, road access, season and how long it has been empty.
We work in Oslo and nearby areas within about 20 kilometres. Jobs farther away are assessed individually. Travel distance, tolls, parking and any additional time caused by difficult winter access are agreed before booking.
What can cabin cleaning include?
- dusting accessible surfaces, window sills and furniture
- vacuuming and mopping suited to wood, laminate, tiles or other flooring
- cleaning worktops, sinks, visible cabinet fronts and agreed appliances
- cleaning toilets, sinks, showers and other wet-room surfaces
- emptying ordinary waste bins when a disposal point has been agreed
- a brief visual report of visible leaks, damage or other issues noticed while we work
The visual report is not a technical building inspection. We do not open structures, test electrical systems or assess concealed moisture problems. If damage is visible, we recommend contacting the appropriate professional.
Optional extras
Changing bed linen, washing textiles, cleaning inside cabinets, ovens or refrigerators, window cleaning, tidying, restocking agreed consumables and simple organising can be added. Purchases are made only against an approved list and budget. Goods, transport and purchasing time are charged separately.
Access and preparation
Before work begins, we need the address, directions, key arrangements, alarm details, parking options and confirmation that water and electricity are available. Please tell us about private roads, barriers, snow conditions or anything else affecting access. Valuable or fragile items should be secured, and areas not to be cleaned must be clearly marked.
If the cabin has a well, septic system, wood-burning heating or surfaces requiring particular products, tell us in advance. We do not use strong products on unknown materials without first assessing the risk.
Pricing and booking
Guide labour prices start from NOK 750 per hour including VAT. The usual minimum order value is NOK 3,000. The final price depends on the floor area, number of rooms, condition, travel, season, access and any extras. Travel, tolls, parking, materials and goods are additional as agreed.
Work can be scheduled during the day, evening or at weekends by prior agreement. New enquiries are handled Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, usually within two hours during office hours.
Frequently asked questions
Can you clean before we arrive?
Yes. Once the key, alarm and required standard are agreed, we can prepare the cabin before arrival and send a brief confirmation after completing the work.
Do you bring cleaning products?
This can be arranged. The customer pays for the products and any consumables. If the cabin has special surfaces, the products recommended by the customer may be the safest choice.
Can you purchase groceries?
Simple shopping can be considered as an extra when the customer provides a clear list and approves the budget. Goods and purchasing time are charged separately.
What happens if the road is inaccessible?
Contact us as early as possible. If access is impossible, the job may need to be rescheduled, and the cancellation terms may apply to reserved time and costs already incurred.
