Mats suited to traffic, season and flooring
A well-positioned mat reduces grit, water and road salt entering offices, shops and shared areas. Requirements vary with doors, traffic, season and flooring. Komfortliv assesses the entrance and provides practical monitoring as part of an Oslo cleaning or service plan.
Komfortliv does not automatically own the mats or operate an industrial laundry. Customers are told who supplies and washes them and which costs belong to the external provider. Customer-owned mats can also be monitored without rental.
What Komfortliv can help with
Deep washing, drying and repair of rented mats remain with the equipped supplier. Komfortliv can coordinate access and report issues but does not guarantee a third party's product, timing or wash result.
- Measure entrances and assess size, quantity and position.
- Review traffic, door clearance, flooring and trip risk.
- Clean around customer-owned mats.
- Monitor visible wear, curling and stability.
- Request supplier quotes after approval.
- Coordinate access and replacement days.
- Adjust intervals for summer, rain and winter.
From assessment to supplier agreement
Send photos with the door open and closed, approximate dimensions and traffic information. The mat must not obstruct the door, escape route or accessible entrance. Larger sites may need a visit.
A rental offer should state product, size, quantity, replacement frequency, price, term and responsibility for damage or loss. The customer normally contracts with and approves the supplier directly.
Price and year-round follow-up
Booking PUBLIC_1_2 does not contain a standalone tariff for entrance-mat service. Assessment and practical follow-up are priced as part of a relevant cleaning/service agreement or by separate quote. Rental, washing, replacement and transport follow the external supplier's quote.
Practical checks and cleaning around mats can be part of a monthly plan. Winter may require greater absorbency and more frequent exchange, including cleaning beneath the mat.
Frequently asked questions
Does Komfortliv rent out its own mats?
Not as standard. We can coordinate an external supplier or monitor mats the customer already owns.
How often should a mat be replaced?
It depends on traffic, weather, size and product; wet and salty winter periods often need shorter intervals.
Can mats be included in stair or retail cleaning?
Yes. Cleaning around them and visible monitoring can be added to the regular task list.
Who is responsible for a delayed rental mat?
The supplier's agreement governs delivery and washing. Komfortliv can report the issue but does not assume product liability.
